A housing development geared exclusively for the over-55s has broken ground in the Edinburgh suburb of Barnton, providing 48 homes with hotel-style amenities.

Barnton Avenue West by Cruden Homes will offer a mix of semi-detached houses and flats designed by Yeoman McAllister with residents enjoying access to a club lounge and guest suite.
