Decentralisation push sees London practice JRA spread its wings in Edinburgh

John Robertson Architects (JRA) have extended its UK presence with the launch of an Edinburgh studio to lead on interior design work.

Supporting existing offices spread across London and Lodz in Poland, the George Street base will be headed up by Angela St Clair-Ford to support the delivery of projects beyond the M25 belt.

St Clair-Ford has relocated from London for the role, bringing a wealth of expertise in workplace and education fit-outs from projects such as the Strand campus for King’s College London; Skanska’s HQ at 51 Moorgate and WeWork's Spitalfields home.

Focussed on commercial refurbishment the Edinburgh studio will also target opportunities in further education and the booming purpose-built student accommodation sector.

Recruitment is underway to seed the new office, which includes architectural assistant Anna Rogowska.
