Between a Rock and a granite place
Carlton Rock are to submit plans to Aberdeen City Council for transformation of the cities Oakbank School into a £50m office complex.

Three office blocks would be built in the grounds of the former school for troubled youngsters, providing grade A space for around 1,500 workers, a café, shop, nursery and gym.

To minimise environmental impact mature trees will be retained and roof mounted evacuated hot water tubes, geothermal heat recovery and grey water recycling will all be built into the design.

Carlton Rock are currently re-negotiating terms for their purchase of the land after reneging on a final £1.5m deposit payment.
