Formed in 1974 Muir Construction is one of Scotland’s largest privately owned contracting companies with a considerable track record in design build, traditional and management contracts.

An Integral member of the J W Muir Group plc, we offer a variety of services required for success in today’s market place.

INDUSTRIAL-The industrial market sector has always been a popular area of works for Muir Construction demonstrating our ability to create lasting relationships with our Clients and Consultants.
COMMERCIAL- The Commerical market sector has proved to the busiest sector for Muir Construction over the past 2 years with projects completed for Scottish Courage, Intelligent Finance, Fife Council and Angus Council.
HOUSING- In recent years Muir Construction has undertaken several private housing projects for Clients in addition to the social housing projects. We have also built several Nursing Homes throughout Scotland.
