Kelvin properties strike gold with £10m Shawlands apartments plan

Kelvin Properties have unveiled a £10m plan to deliver 34 flats in Shawlands in the heart of Glasgow's south side.

Waverley Park Apartments will rise five storeys above a neighbouring bowling green, offering residents access to a communal roof garden and private balconies to most homes.

Following hot on the heels of the £68m Shawlands Arcade announcement the project will replace a disused clubhouse with a brick and gold metal clad addition.

Kelvin Properties founder Stephen McKechnie said: “Shawlands is an area we have wanted to develop in for some time, and Waverley Park Apartments will be a fantastic addition to the area at a very exciting time.”

Designed by Holmes Miller Architects the homes are due to complete in 2022.

Looks fine but a bit of an unresolved 45-degree corner splay....
