The Cruden Group, via Hart Builders, is to deliver 151 homes for mid-market rent on a historic industrial site in Leith, Edinburgh on behalf of PfP Capital.

Formerly occupied by the Edinburgh Roperie and Sailworks Company the development has already moved on-site as the fifth development Hart are delivering as part of the Ropeworks development.

This phase has been designed by 7N Architects and forms part of the wider masterplan for the Ropeworks development by CDA for a brownfield site with direct access to the 46-acre Leith Links and a new landscaped park and also allowing for an extended allotments area.

Spread across four blocks, three of which will have lift access, the development is expected to fully complete by spring 2022.

The Ropeworks will constitute 608 homes once fully complete.
