Falkirk Council extend early year's provision with accommodation push

Falkirk Council and ADP Architecture are leading the delivery of a new early years nursery extension adjoining Carron Primary School.
Part of a broader increase in the provision of nursery accommodation by the local authority the work will provide an additional four classrooms arranged around a central hall.
Resting on a brick plinth the rendered extension will accommodate an external covered shelter, connecting to the body of the main school via an existing glazed link.
Associated landscaping work will be undertaken to provide a dedicated outdoor play space.
From this month all three and four-year-olds, together with eligible two-year-olds, will be eligible for 1,140 hours of funded care.
