CALA debuts new house type in Erskine

CALA Homes has previewed a 195-home greenbelt development at North Bar, Erskine including several novel house types set for their west coast debut.

Gilchrist Gardens will include a mix of terraced and detached homes and townhouses of up to 2,470sq/ft along the south bank of the River Clyde, 15 miles from Glasgow.

Liana Canavan, sales and marketing director at CALA Homes (West), said: “We are excited to be able to give potential viewers a glimpse of what CALA is bringing to Erskine.

“This development will no doubt prove popular amongst couples and young families who are looking to settle down in an idyllic location not far from Glasgow.”

As part of the development, CALA will fund a new bus link to improve connectivity.

I have to say, not being a massive fan of new build houses or apartments Cala are building some nice stuff these days although these look a bit pedestrian to be honest.

Not exactly cohesive is it? The two houses to the left could be twenty years old, while the block to the right is trying to be .......something else.

is that a block of flats to the right at the 3 storey? The window fenestration looks like a mid-90's PPP school, with ribbon windows and brick or coloured render piers.
