Hoskins extends winning streak
In what has become something of a triumphant year for Gareth Hoskins Architects comes news that the practice has been shortlisted for the BD 2008 Architect of the Year Award in the Public Buildings category.

The winners will be announced on 30th October 2008 at the Hilton Park Lane in London. The public buildings put forward by Gareth Hoskins Architects for the awards submission include the Culloden Battlefield Memorial Centre in Inverness, ‘The Bridge’ Arts Centre in Easterhouse, Glasgow, and the Royal Museum in Edinburgh.

This comes hot on the heels of “a Gathering Space”, Scotland’s presence at the 2008 Venice Biennale.

If you would like to see the work of Gareth Hoskins Architects, the Lighthouse Series of Architectural Monographs is to feature this notable architectural practice as the first in the series. The exhibition will run from 12th September 2008 until 2nd November 2008 at the Lighthouse, and will be accompanied by a book on the practice.
