A core component of Glasgow’s IFSD takes shape

HFD Construction has marked another milestone in the delivery of 177 Bothwell Street with the topping out of a central services core.

Steelwork for the 313,000sq/ft office development is now being lifted into position ahead of its targeted completion by June 2021 as the final phase of the wider Bothwell Exchange.

Stephen Lewis, Managing Director of HFD Property Group, said: “177 Bothwell Street is going to provide Glasgow’s thriving businesses with the quality office space they need to help them attract and retain the best talent while supporting their growth ambitions.”

Drone footage of the project captured by Keltbray shows the scheme rising neatly from the city grid with the intention to make life as easy as possible for commuters by providing 318 cycle places and electric vehicle charging points.

Rising to 13 storeys the office block will be topped by an 8,000sq/ft running track.
