ASA19 caps a decade of new buildings

The Architecture Annual 2019 closes out a decade of ground-breaking work with a fresh cohort of 88 projects compiled by Urban Realm which enable all architects, clients and contractors to regard the future with confidence.

This year we visit The Black House on the Isle of Skye which sees Dualchas shake-up the most traditional of building forms. We then turn the page to a fairytale House in the Woods which sees Taylor Architecture Practice narrate a romantic tale from a wooded glade deep in the Scottish Borders.

Runaway winners at the Scottish Design Awards Marc Kilkenny Architects also return across the Irish Sea once more with Clydebank Community Sports Hub, frieze-framed here in perpetuity for its contribution not just to architecture but to design craft courtesy of Freytag Anderson.

All these and more await within the ASA19 so grab your copy today.

To book your place in the ASA20 please contact editor John Glenday on 0141 428 4814 or John@urbanrealm.com

Just received our copy of the superb 'Architectural Annual 2019' this morning. One of my favourite magazines with pride of place beside my desk (mine go back as far as 2005), and fantastic to look through some stunning current Scottish Architecture. There's a lot of good work out there to be celebrated.
