Opinions sought on £22m Torry Hub

Aberdeen City Council has opened a consultation into their plans to erect a £22m community hub for Torry, combining a 434-place primary school, café, library and community space.

Detailed design and development work is currently being undertaken by the authority and it is keen to establish a variety of views in order to pin down precisely what form the hub should take.

Councillor Gordon Graham said: “It is great we’re now at the stage of having a design and more details available for people to view and comment on.

“This is a development that the community have wanted for several years and we are delighted to be delivering it for them. Having the new facilities all under one roof will make a real and tangible difference to local people and it’s exciting we’re now at this stage.”

The Torry Hub consultation will remain live through to 26 July.
