Tenants sought for speculative Atlantic Square office block

Occupiers are being sought for 96,649sq/ft office spread across two self-contained blocks currently under construction in Glasgow’s financial services district, ahead of their completion in 2020.

Building two comprises of spaces spread over six upper floors with access from York Street, with a new archway punched through a retained façade on James Watt Street offering access to a basement car park.

Mark Broderick, development director – Scotland, BAM Properties, said: “We’re delighted to take our vision for Atlantic Square out to the occupier market and begin the search for the first tenant for 2 Atlantic Square. Given the strength of Glasgow’s occupier market and the severe shortage of new build office space in the city we expect there to be strong interest in this development from across the UK.”

Atlantic Square has been designed by Cooper Cromar and is being delivered by BAM Construction on behalf of BAM Properties and TCP Developments.

Upon completion it will include three separate buildings, the largest of which has already been let to HMRC, with smaller buildings two and three still to be let out.
