IIPS is a business improvement framework designed to advance an organisation's performance through its people.  Companies can achieve IIPS accreditation by undertaking an assessment based on evidence requirements.

The Framework report notes: “Gordon Murray and Alan Dunlop Architects (gm+ad) have achieved year on year growth ever since the new partnership was formed twelve years ago. The organisation recognises the importance of managing this expansion without having any adverse effect on the quality of service they offer to their clients. The Partners ensure that the organisation has a clear purpose and vision, which is supported by a strategy for improving its performance. This includes breaking out of their previous pigeon-hole as ‘commercial architects’ by undertaking a broad range of commissions, including a school for visually and sensorily impaired children."
