Interior fit-out underway at Aberdeen events complex

Keppie Design have marked the start of interior fit-out work at a 12,500-capacity arena in Aberdeen, close to the city’s airport, with the release of new indicative visualisations of how the facility will look.
The Event Complex Aberdeen is being delivered by Aberdeen City Council and Henry Boot Developments and will include three exhibition halls, four conference suites and 15 meeting rooms.
Nick Harris, director of HBD in Scotland said: “These new images of the arena and restaurant are an exciting glimpse into how the facility will look when it opens. Work is continuing to progress on schedule, with finishing touches currently being made to the roof, and it’s amazing to think that in just a few short months, interior spaces like these will really be taking shape.”
Robertson Construction are overseeing the £333m build, which is scheduled for completion in 2019.
