Doomed Aberdeen workshop earmarked for ‘saw-tooth’ homes

David Murray Associates have resubmitted plans for an infill residential development in Aberdeen replacing a disused garage with twin duplex apartments.
The Merkland Lane site provides rear access to neighbouring tenements and will be cleared to create two self-contained apartments each with their own front door and garden. Living accommodation will be pushed up to the first floor to provide a more open aspect.
The mews style homes will each benefit from a private south facing balcony, maximizing outdoor space on the compact footprint.

Nice. Just when you think you are getting somewhere with Brown and Brown leading the charge for quality Architecture in the City and surrounds you see this drivel where someone has clearly learned how to "flip along by red direction" in SketchUp.
