University of Stirling comes together with Campus Central

Campus Central will incorporate spaces for study, learning and collaboration, bringing with it enhanced student support facilities as well as improved retail and dining. Designed by Page\Park the hub has been conceived to maximise connectivity, create a new civic entrance to the campus and better integrate with the surrounding landscape.
To achieve this a new build link building has been conceived, arranged over three levels and finished in granite rainscreen and light grey stone cladding with curtain wall glazing. Doubling as a new gateway to the Macroberts Arts Centre and Andrew Miller building.
In a statement the architects observed: “The new three storey entrance Pavilion is offset from the Library with a three storey void inspired by the idea of a gorge.
“This stepped profile facing south creates a degree of shelter to the Queens Court in the form of a contemporary loggia whilst giving clear acknowledgement to the two entrances at either end.”
It is hoped work can begin on the project by early next year to complete by September 2020, together with creation of a re-landscaped and traffic-free Queen’s Court.
Access will be rationalised by the new link building
Campus Central will bring with it improvements to traffic flow through the campus

I might be in a minority but I think that Stirling Uni campus is really attractive and is a lovely example of a modern campus sitting in stunning landscape. So its a little unfair to call it a 'disparate estate'.
I suppose a traffic free Queens Court would be nice, but its damn handy as a bus turning circle. Nevertheless - n appropriate response as usual from P&P, however you don't get much for £23m these days do you?

I visited the campus when a cousin was looking at universities and found it equally a pleasant and attractive campus. Certainly did not spot it being 'disparate'. It is rather closed off from Stirling and Bridge of Allan if I was to be picky.
