£12m Newbridge fire & rescue training centre breaks ground

Robertson Construction are now on-site with an expectation that the Smith Scott Mullan Architects design will be operational by March 2019.
Alasdair Hay, chief officer of the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, said: “There can be no clearer indication of our commitment to both our communities and our firefighters than the significant investment in this new training facility.
“This is a momentous occasion as we continue to move forward in harnessing the very latest firefighting technologies.”
Designed to simulate vehicle pile-ups the facility will provide specialist training for up to 1,600 firefighters in urban search and rescue, including the early identification of risks.

@#2 - that's what happens when you play with Scape. That gang have been consistently churning out utter dross for longer than I care to remember.
