Skye distillery visitor centre boosts island tourism offer
Simpson & Brown have marked the handover of a new visitor centre at Torabhaig Distillery which is now welcoming visitors on the whisky trail.

Torabhaig is Skye’s second distillery and caters for the burgeoning tourism market on the island with its own courtyard café and shop offering expansive views to the Sleat Peninsula.

Occupying a B-listed quadrangular farm steading the distillery project has seen existing accommodation sensitively repurposed with sympathetic new additions retaining the character of the area, including a cooling/reflecting pond.

Torabhaig Distillery has been producing its own single malt Scotch whisky since January 2017.
