Forfar Community Campus handed over
Angus Council have taken possession of the £38.9m JM Architects designed Forfar Community Campus following a formal handover by Hub East central Scotland and Robertson Tayside.

A marriage of Forfar Academy and the council’s sport and leisure facilities the campus boasts a publicly accessible learning resource centre, swimming pool, sauna and steam room, 8 court games hall, gym, fitness suite, studio rooms, a squash court and crèche.

A theatre, meeting rooms and café are also provided under the same roof with outdoor facilities including tennis courts and a full-size flood-lit grass pitch set to open in Autumn 2018.

The old Forfar Academy will be demolished upon completion of this work.

Really poor photos. Why on earth were these allowed to be used? They make the spaces seem dark and unwelcoming.

Disappointing JM.
