Finished designs for £12m Elgin primary school published
Moray Council have lifted the wraps from a £12m primary school to be built in Elgin early next year, culmination of a lengthy consultation process.

Pupils will begin receiving lessons at the JM Architects designed school from August next year, moving from temporary accommodation to a purpose build school with its own atrium and courtyard.

Chair of Moray Council’s Children and Young People’s committee, Cllr Anne Skene, said: “Children attending this new school will be learning in a modern environment with the latest technology. Once enrolled they will automatically transfer to a similar environment at the Elgin High School at the completion of their primary education.”

Construction work is already underway on the replacement Elgin High School.
