£41m East Ayrshire Learning Campus pushed back to March
January 12 2016
The project will see the merger of Kilmarnock Academy, James Hamilton Academy, New Farm Primary and Early Childhood Centre, Silverwood Primary as well as Gaelic education provision for 3 to 18 year olds.
Kier Construction will deliver the Archial Norr designed campus which will accommodate 1,928 pupils.
Located at Sutherland Drive, Kilmarnock, the campus is scheduled for completion by March 2018 with work to upgrade the surrounding road infrastructure already underway.
The campus is one of 12 new schools and health centres being progressed through hub.
Construction has been held back from a planned start date of November 2015
The campus will include a new car park and multi-use games area

It's not inconceivable that some kids will spend around 18 years of their lives in this single amorphis scheme. I really feel sorry for them. Institutionalised in the strongest sense of the word.

Amorphis Scheme ? I was unaware the Finnish heavy metal band were designing Schools.
