Construction gets underway on £1.4m Argyll artist centre
Construction work is proceeding on a £1.4m creative space in Argyll on behalf of Cove Park, an artist’s residence overlooking Loch Long.

Designed by Cameron Webster Architects on the site of the existing centre it will offer space for public events, workshops and visitor space alongside twin accommodation units and two studios.

Lesley McDonald of project backers The Robertson Trust said: “The Robertson Trust supports projects and activities which widen access and increase participation in all forms of artistic activities for people throughout Scotland. We are delighted to support this new phase in the history of Cove Park.”

The new space is expected to open its doors in April.

Nice understated looking scheme, deferring to a spectacular context. Good work!
