Alford Community Campus opens its doors
Construction work has been wrapped up at the £37m Alford Community Campus, a Halliday Fraser Munro designed school built on behalf of Aberdeenshire Council to meet the needs of an expanding school roll.

Delivered by Hub North Scotland and Morrison Construction the school includes its own theatre, sports hall, swimming pool, library and dance studio in addition to all-weather sports pitches.

Angus Macfarlane, chief executive of hub North Scotland, commented: “The new campus will without a doubt be a real focal point for the village, serving generations of pupils and individuals for years to come. We’re proud to have been a part of this project and look forward to officially handing the facility over to Aberdeenshire Council in the coming weeks.”

A total of 324 primary and 640 secondary pupils will be catered for by the new campus.
