Sanctuary unveil £4.5m Woodilee Village housing
Sanctuary Housing Association have showcased a £4.5m development of 41 macmon designed affordable homes at Woodilee Village, East Dunbartonshire, on the site of the former Woodilee Hospital.

The 210 acre site, sandwiched between Kirkintilloch and Lenzie, will incorporate a range of properties for both social rent and shared equity ownership.

Sanctuary director Gordon Laurie said: “These 41 homes will help address the affordable housing shortage that affects East Dunbartonshire and the country as a whole.

“The Woodilee community will be enriched by the presence of families who might otherwise have been unable to live there.”

Work on the project began in February last year and will ultimately host some 800 homes, the remainder of which are being delivered for private sale.
