Public exhibition to be held for Corstorphine Waitrose store

To be held on on Wednesday 10 December at Corstorphine Library the event will showcase plans to replace an existing parade of shops between St John’s Road and Manse Road it will be the supermarket chain’s eighth outlet in Scotland providing 21,000sq/ft of space.
The two storey design features a masonry stair tower as a transition element to an adjacent tenement with louvres and a mansard roof masking two levels of rooftop parking offering 140 spaces.
A planning application for the scheme is currently being worked up with the shop likely to open in 2016.
