Architecture and art mash-up kicks-off with public showcase
An exhibition of art and architecture has opened at the Italian Centre, 49 Cochrane Street, Glasgow, displaying a range of works from UK artists and architects working to a theme of the city.

Architecture Meets Art showcases a broad range of work in mediums spanning sculpture, installation art and painting with contributions from Foster + Partners; Contagious Design; Nicholas Szczepaniak Architects; Alan Dunlop; Paul Stallan; Holmes Miller; Hypostyle and Dress for the Weather.

Representing the artistic side of the equation will be David Mach, Anna Gibb, Keith Hunter, Marion Gardyne, The Papercup Artist, Timorous Beasties, David Simpson, Andrew Squire and Tom Manley.

The exhibition will run through to the 29 October prior to being auctioned off with all proceeds raised going toward Enable and The Glasgow School of Art, Mackintosh Building Fire Fund.
