The Shortlist for the RIAS Andrew Doolan Award has been revealed as; The Bridge by Gareth Hoskins, The Maggie Centre, Dundee, Fettes School Sixth form block by Page and Park, Hazelwood Dumbreck School by gm+ad, Princes Gate housing by Malcolm Fraser, The Pier Arts Centre by Reiach and Hall and the St Andrews Arts Faculty by Reiach and Hall.

The RIAS has announced that it has linked with A+DS to provide an awards website www.scottisharchitectureawards.org.uk. Sebastian Tombs, A+DS Chief Executive and former RIAS Chief Executive described the purpose of the site. "There are many great building projects taking place in Scotland today, from spectacular flagship buildings to discrete projects such as public realm or housing. They all make a valuable contribution to make to the quality of our built environment and awards are a great way to celebrate excellence and provide exemplars of good practice,” said Tombs.
