University of Dundee School of Medicine completes
The University of Dundee has completed work on a new Archial Norr designed extension to its School of Medicine within the grounds of Ninewells Hospital.

Delivered by ISG this saw an existing building extended to provide additional teaching accommodation, library, IT suite and study areas together with refurbishment of an existing lecture theatre.

This takes the form of a new glazed frontage decorated with transparent panels which represent elements of a eukaryotic cell.

Alan McCarthy-Wyper, managing director of ISG’s construction business said: “We continue to build on our strong education sector credentials and within Scotland are adding to our portfolio of projects with leading institutions. Delivering outstanding learning environments is central to our offer as an innovative and highly experienced sector specialist and these high-profile projects reflect positively on the key investment being made in core infrastructure for future generations.”
