Princes Street Motel One opens its doors
A new 140 bedroom hotel has opened its doors on Edinburgh’s Princes Street following the rebuild of a C-listed Victorian property by CDA Architects.

Motel One’s interiors adopt a regal theme with various heirs to the UK throne lining the walls, mingling with turquoise Arne Jacobsen egg chairs.

Retail units have been allocated along the ground floor with rumours persisting that one will house the city’s first Apple store.

It is the second Motel One to open its doors in the city following completion of an Old Town venue on Market Street last year.
