Glasgow's Skypark unveils latest expansion plan
Glasgow’s Skypark business quarter has unveiled expansion plans in the form of the Azure Building, a 135,000sq/ft block adjacent to the Clydeside Expressway.

Rising to seven storeys the Sheppard Robson designed scheme is intended to grow the inner city business quarter and will be built on top of its own south facing landscaped terrace.

The BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rated build follows recent refurbishment work at the complex; including public realm works and services intended to create a ‘business hotel’ environment.

It follows an earlier plan to build a 330,000sq/ft Michael Laird designed block which fell foul of the recession despite receiving outline planning permission.
