Aberdeen International Business Park moves forward

March 1 2013St Vincent Plaza, have announced plans to bring forward a new 40 acre business park adjacent to Aberdeen International Airport.
Aberdeen International Business Park will be located adjacent to the planned Aberdeen Western Periphery Route the scheme and will provide 300,000 sq/ft of office space, full medical suite, crèche, restaurants, a gym, sports facilities and retail units in its first phase.
A further 700,000 sq/ft of office space and a four star hotel are planned for subsequent phases.
Commenting on the development Glatman said: “In a highly competitive job market such as Aberdeen, it is imperative that companies can base themselves in a business location that enhances their ability to recruit and retain employees. The environment, facilities, quality and location of this Business Park is being tailored to the needs of potential occupiers and will be second to none in the UK.”
Keppie Design has been appointed as masterplan architects for the scheme which already has planning consent, meaning the first buildings could be delivered by August 2014.
It will be the second business park to be built in the vicinity of the airport following the rival 750,000sq/ft ABZ park.
