EICC marketing commences
Fresh images have been published of BDPs £85m expansion of the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, currently under construction.

The extension will allow the venue to stage snooker tournaments, boxing matches and concerts for the first time whilst boosting capacity for banqueting and conferences to 2,000 and 1,800 heads respectively.

A floor moving system will also be adopted, enabling catwalks and seating to be reconfigured in a fraction of the time taken currently.

A seven storey office block, Atria One, is currently being built above the main hall and will provide 186,000sq/ft of grade A accommodation upon its completion in 2013.
