Aberdeen College to relocate music and performing arts department to city centre

Archial has been appointed as lead consultant on the relocation of Aberdeen College’s department of music and performing arts from its existing home at the Gordon Centre to the college’s city centre Gallowgate campus.The project will involve the refurbishment of an existing building to create 750sq/m of teaching space, studios, technician’s rooms, practice areas, workshops, dressing rooms and a theatre.
Supporting Archial for the flit is: WI Talbot, quantity surveyor; Hawthorne Boyle Partnership, mechanical and engineering services; Ramsay & Chalmers, structural engineer, and David Scherchen, specialist studio design.
