Collective draw up plans for Anderston housing
Collective Architecture is drawing up plans for a second phase of housing at Argyle Street, Glasgow, following completion of a block of 24 wheelchair friendly flats.

A total of 64 two and three bedroom flats will be developed for mainstream and disabled residents for social rent and shared ownership.

Rising up to six storeys the flats are arranged around traditional tenement style closes above a first floor plinth.

South facing balconies and large floor to ceiling windows enliven large areas of buff brick and zinc.

The surrounding Anderston estate is in process of phased demolition to a masterplan by MAST architects.
