Global private equity firm the Carlyle Group and Bellhouse Joseph have welcomed the first tenants to their Tanfield office refurbishment in Edinburgh.

AECOM, a provider of professional technical and management support services and Coffee Angel, provider of hot drinks and pastries,  moved into the building this week.

This follows the recent merger of Faber Maunsell and EDAW under the AECOM brand a move cemented by relocating to a single headquarters in the city.

The £20m project was completed by BDP and is seen as a timely fillip to the city centre office market in the face of out of town competition.
