Moray Council have granted planning approval to a proposal by Robertson Homes and Scotia Homes (North) Ltd to erect 435 homes at Spynie, north of Elgin.

Part of Elgin’s five year masterplan the £70m suburban development will accommodate a range of accommodation from affordable homes to luxury five bedroom villas.

Built around a village green the housing estate will sport a network of cycle and footpaths whilst existing overhead pylons will be removed.
