8) Rashielee Quay / Clydeside Park

Erz were appointed by the Glasgow and Clyde Valley Green Network Partnership, on behalf of the wider client group, to undertake two parallel studies focused on Rashielee Quay (in Erskine) and Clydeside Community Park (in Dalmuir). Both areas had been identified as priority projects within the Clyde Waterfront Green Network, essentially representing strategically significant `breaks` in the network. Both areas were the subject of thorough field and desk based study and analysis, considering: landscape and urban structure, ecological and habitat value, existing movement networks and facilities and so on. Informed by this work, strategies for intervention were developed for both areas. Alongside the overall strategies, area specific master-plans and site specific proposals were prepared for key locations.
