Cammo Estate masterplan to deliver 656 new homes
EMA architects have submitted a planning application for 656 new homes in Edinburgh on behalf of developers CALA and David Wilson homes.

The development on 28 hectares of land near the Cammo estate proposes a network of landscaped areas that shape the development structure and will provide a new residential development that responds to its surrounding context.

In this way a network of green spaces will be threaded through the site, focused on a linear park new public space on Maybury Road.
A spokesman for the consortium commented: “This application is the next stage for a project that forms an important element of the City of Edinburgh Council’s vision for new homes across the capital.”

“We feel this final proposal is well-judged, well-balanced and respects the location and existing community and will bring long-term enhancements to this part of Edinburgh.”

Is this what folk want? Consider a development where every house has a micro mini green belt thicket offering a green and private environment
