CCG have been granted a green-light by Glasgow City Council to push ahead with 156 new homes at Riverford Road in Pollokshaws.

Construction of Riverford Gardens is set to begin this spring on the delivery of a mix of townhouses, semi-detached properties and apartments on land bordering the White Cart River.

Calum Murray, director of CCG, said the scheme would be ‘one of the largest private housing developments in Glasgow’, adding: “With a range of house types and a contemporary design, we are confident this development will be a success and one that the market eagerly awaits.”

Designed by Mast Architects to maximise river views the buildings will employ a common palette of brick and communal green spaces with accommodation stepping down in scale toward the water’s edge.
