Rangers club together for proposed Memorial Wall
Rangers Football Club have kicked off plans to erect a memorial garden on a section of surplus car park outside Ibrox Stadium in honour of the club’s players and to remember victims of the Ibrox disaster.

Incorporating an inlaid bronze ‘timeline’, seating and stainless-steel engravings the landscaped corner will include stainless steel pedestals with embedded tablets for visitors to peruse and a polished black Corian disaster memorial slate.

Designed by Memorial Walls the seating plinths will incorporate concealed Bluetooth charging within a secure area demarked by decorative perimeter railings and gates.

Foliage plinths, LED ground lighting and printed club mosaic round off the planned features set.

The proposed memorial wall would be open to the public between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 daily.

A memorial is a noble idea and should be realised, but this looks a bit like a dog's toilet area. With USB points.

One would have thought that a memorial gadden would have trees or something living in it. The planned 'garden' looks like they have closed off the car park temporarily in case they need to use it again. Giant plant pots can have lights and even Bluetooth charging docks.

I’m old enough to recall one they had before: it was the cinder track round the pitch
