Old Town hotel hits new heights
EDI Group have carried out a topping out ceremony at a £20m, 98-room hotel on Edinburgh’s Market Street.

Situated in the heart of the Old Town steelwork for the seven storey hotel is now in place allowing work to continue apace on the exterior envelope and interiors.

Scheduled for completion by summer 2018 the four-star hotel will include a top level panoramic lounge and bar roof terrace.

Carlton Hotel Collection's director of operations Hans van der Heijden commented: “On the top floor we’ll be introducing Nor’loft, a uniquely designed lounge with a “champagne table” where guests can enjoy their bubbles whilst gazing out across the spectacular skyline view.  This impressive top floor will bring a new vibe and face to the city’s nightlife.”

The JM Architects design is being delivered by EDI Group and ISG.
