Dundee nursery gives rise to new homes
Jon Frullani Architect has proposed developing an estate of 10 ‘bespoke’ houses on the site of a former nursery at Perth Road, Dundee, formed from glazing, natural slate roofs, render, natural stone and timber.

Built on the basis of home zone principles the homes will be clustered along a shared surface access, each detached home will have its own integral garage

In a design statement, the architects wrote: “The creation of a home zone allows for the creation of clear definitions between public and private space with the ‘street’ being the focal point of the development.

“Each house has been designed and positioned on the site to take advantage of the sloping topography so as not to overlook or overshadow the private gardens of neighbouring houses.”

A retaining wall on the western edge of the site, close to a stream, will remain.

Not bad, not really moving the genre forward any, but I would suggest that 3 house types is far from 10 'bespoke' houses - it's just small scale developer housing.
