Edinburgh office refurbishment builds east end momentum
Chris Stewart Group is to spearhead the refurbishment of Edinburgh’s Blenheim House after purchasing the east end office building in a £5m deal.

Ian Springford Architects have been brought on board to modernise and upgrade the existing building to provide 35,000sq/ft of space over five floors upon completion by early 2017.

The project is situated immediately adjacent to Baxter’s Place, another CSG development which will bring the first Courtyard by Marriott hotel to the city, not to mention the newly opened office of Ian Springford Architects.

CEO Chris Stewart commented: “This is a fantastic building in an equally fantastic location; it simply needs some investment to ensure it meets the technology standards and quality expectations of Edinburgh businesses.”

This area of the city centre is subject to a number of significant regeneration schemes including the St James Quarter and Calton Hill.

The columns and glass frame are a horrible style and colour, sort those out and it might look alright.

Is that more zinc as well?
