JM draft initial designs for £3.65m Girvan special needs school
JM Architects have drawn up initial designs for a £3.65m school for children with additional support needs on behalf of South Ayrshire Council in advance of a public consultation this Wednesday.

Built within the grounds of Girvan Academy Invargarven School will include a sensory room, kitchen, hall, hydrotherapy pool and outdoor learning spaces.

Councillor Margaret Toner, lifelong learning portfolio holder, South Ayrshire Council, said, “We’re committed to meeting the needs of all our young people and this new development will help to transform the lives of pupils with additional support needs.

Anyone interested in taking part is invited to attend a public display within the dining hall of Girvan Academy on 9 March between 15:00 and 19:00.
