Inverness affordable housing handed over
Non-profit developer the Highland Housing Alliance and Highland Council have handed over a development of 31 mid-market rent homes to tenants on Academy Street, Inverness.

Built by Keppie Design and William Gray Construction the homes were built as part of a Scottish Government initiative to build more housing.

Chair of The Highland Council’s planning, development and infrastructure committee, councillor Audrey Sinclair said:  “These new flats and retail units are a most welcome addition to the wider regeneration of Academy Street. The National Housing Trust (NHT) initiative has helped many people throughout Highland and I am delighted to see more new homes being built, especially in the City Centre.

“The Council will continue to work in conjunction with their partner organisations to deliver new affordable homes throughout Highland.”
Occupiers will be given the option to buy their homes following a period of renting
