Hunter Community Health Centre opens its doors
NHS Lanarkshire has thrown open the doors to the Hunter Community Health Centre, East Kilbride, following handover of the £19.6m facility by Graham Construction.

Designed by Reiach & Hall the premises will play host to 350 staff over five floors, offering a range of services to patients all under one roof; including six GP surgeries and a dentist.

Calum Campbell, chief executive of NHS Lanarkshire, said: “We’re sure this new state of the art facility will allow our health care staff to enhance the first class care they already provide to the people of East Kilbride.

“Our aim now is to get it ready for patients as our priority is always to provide the best patient care.”

NHS Lanarkshire recently unveiled the sister Kilsyth Health Centre and will complete the trinity with the unveiling of a new facility in Wishaw this August – all delivered via hub South West.
