Whisky Bond office conversion completes
The Whisky Bond, a Glasgow based business and creative hub managed by the Glasgow Canal Regeneration Partnership, has completed work on a second phase of office and studio workspace within a former industrial building at Speirs Locks.

This brings to 100,000sq/ft the amount of space available in the seven storey brick structure, whose tenants already include the likes of Network Five Architects and the Glasgow Sculpture Studios, joining a growing creative community anchored by Scottish Opera and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

A co-working space called ‘The Distillery’ is also provided, aimed at start-up businesses and freelancers.

Gary Watt, development manager at ISIS Waterside Regeneration, said: “The Whisky Bond is more than office and studio space, it’s the centrepiece of our ambition to transform Speirs Locks into one of Scotland’s leading centres for creative production.”
