Armitage Associates merge with Ryder Architecture
Newcastle based Ryder Architecture has further expanded its Glasgow business after merging with Armitage Associates from today.

The collaboration will see Armitage’s four staff join Ryder’s Glasgow office, bolstering its presence in the healthcare and social housing sectors through projects such as the New Lister Building at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

In a statement a spokesperson for Ryder Architecture said: “We are delighted to announce from 1 September 2014 Armitage Associates will join Ryder Architecture.

"Armitage bring a wealth of experience in the healthcare and social housing sectors which will enhance and expand our existing capability in Scotland.”

Ryder, which merged with Gordon Murray Architects in January 2012, is currently on site of a 143,000sq/ft office block at West Regent Street, Glasgow and new schools in Lerwick and Wick.
