Scottish Enterprise officially unveil Inovo
Scottish Enterprise has officially opened its £10m industry engagement building, inovo, a purpose-built office block which will help support the offshore renewable energy market.

Situated within Glasgow’s International Technology and Renewable Energy Zone the BDP designed building offers flexible accommodation for new and existing companies in the field and is now over 40 per cent let since completing in September last year.

Adrian Gillespie, Scottish Enterprise’s MD of operations, said: “Initiatives such as ITREZ play a key role in supporting the growth of the sector in Scotland. In particular, inovo, together with the University of Strathclyde’s Technology Innovation Centre, aims to bridge the gap between industry and academia by offering co-location opportunities and creating an ideal breeding ground for industry to harness cutting edge research and help shape the offshore renewable industry of tomorrow.”

Inovo is the first office building in Glasgow to achieve an ‘A’ Energy performance Certificate and an Excellent BREEAM rating.
